Newbie-Question: How to access the Telephone-Interface-Keys

2 replies · 1,716 views · Started 18 June 2003

Is it possible to use the telephone-interface-keys in OPL?
I saw this function in "neuvoice" (an program for voice-dial), there you can press the right softkey on the telephone interface to start the voice-dial progress.
Any suggestions?

Thanx and greetings
Stefan

I suppose that you mean Series 60 phones like the Nokia 7650 or 3650. Then the answer is yes.
The posting http://www.allaboutsymbian.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=13034 lists the values that are returned by the OPL keyword GET.
In the posting http://www.allaboutsymbian.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=13401 you can find the values returned by GETEVENT32 and CONST definitions for more conveniently usage.

We have attempted to summarise OPL key usage in dpNote 0029, both for Series 60 and Series 80.

See www.dp.com.my under the dpNotes button.
