Firmware details confidential ?

Recently i e-mail to Ericsson to ask them the difference about the latest firmware in the P800..and the reply i got was :

Why would they want to keep the firmware a secret ? at least let us know what's new so to see if it is worth upgrading the firmware. It's quite a hassle to put back our phone data back everytime we have to flash the firmware.

I think they don't want to be like Nokia..... where their R&D is fucked up and claim to be buggy... see all the phones we used last time, 8310, 7110 , etc... all firmware have problem and that's degrade their "name".

I think Ericsson is avoiding such problem like Nokia.... company name as stake.....

It is confidential, so we can not list it. If you have a problem with something, we can tell you if it will fix it or not.

That's lame! Why is it confidential. Once it is released every-one knows about it, so why would it be confidential :-?
