hey this is a skin i made my self by moddyifieng a skin called h20
although most of the icons on the skin are made by me there are some still from the h20 skin, also the background i made myself too.
check it out and if u want me to make it available let me know, but i will have probably added even more icons by then 😊
it certainly looks pretty.
i am put off by the apple on the background, it's hauntingly familiar 😉 but i guess that others probably won't have my prejudice hehe.

Liquidfists I suggest you don't post the actual SKN file because just like the way you took the icons from my skin (H2O), others can take yours and make their own skin!
Although all the icons from H2O came from Apple's OSX and doesn't really belong to me, I'm pretty sure you didn't make any of your addition icons from scratch.

Great reply Moyboy. The poor chap seemed a little bit hypocritical after using other peoples skins and icons to make his own and then not sharing, citing the fact that others would quite probably do the same with his. If he's that worried then why even bother to share it. I thought the idea was to share, show off what you've done and be proud if people do want to download it/use bits etc.
Great advice, don't upload or it'll be used. I'd be surprised if your screen shot isn't used already mind 😊

Guys,what about changing the white background with something else.It really does not look nice when icon is selected on the white background,and most of the good skins use white(Skects,H20,My phone etc etc)

Hurry and post the skin.
And its easy to steal the icons! (but you need the bloody skin)
Just put the skin on and use skin editor to change the background image to pure white and then take a screen shot of it!
Send it to your pc and you're done! (easy)

Changed my mind as I just figured out how to add more then one attachment. Here you go.

I use it as a background for the skins as i have made it the correct screen size 208x176 so there is no gaps.
I've used it for a few skins now, it looks good enough with most things I find.
I did make another one with a chequered flag background but the colour of the flag doesn't show up on the phone. Is there certain colours that don't show on the 7650?

The 7650 has a 4096 colour screen,so if your background has 65536 colours large percent of them wont show up on 7650's screen 😊

Thanks Ghostdog, that must be why then. I didn't know how many colours for sure the 7650's were capable of showing. This is the background I was trying to use, the tire treads show but not the lilac if it's that.

Is there a tutorial about making skins, since this seems very interesting! I�ve done a lot of graphics and I�d like to make some skins. Is Smart Launcher fully compatible with Nokia3650?

Smart Launcher is compatable with the 3650 no problem, the only thing you need to do is install it on the phones internal memory and NOT the MMC card or it will not run and mess the phone up until it is taken off the MMC.
As for a tutorial go here http://www.symbianware.com/index.php?pl=n7650 then to the Smart Launcher and Skin Editor pages.
It tells you how to make the skins and the icons/masks.
It's very straight forward once you are familiar with it all. The Skin Editor is the app you need to assign the background, icons, colours etc. and it is very user friendly.

Good question and one thats got me a little stumped I'm afraid.
I just had a look on the Symbianware site and could not see anything about different languages for Smart Launcher.
The best thing I can suggest is to email them asking the same question. They are very willing to help out and will be able to tell you anything about the app.
Let us know what you find out as you can't be the only person wanting different languages.
