Control PS2 DVD using irRemote

Is it possible to control the dvd functions on the PS2 by using any of the maufacturers on irRemote....if not, are there any codes available to download for use with Total irRemote...

presume that's possible but haven't tried. Thing is, to do that you've got to buy the remote from Sony anway to get the IR thingy to plug into PS2.

This is true.. but what if the sony remote has broken? also, you can't control the tv and the dvd using the sony remote can you?

If anyone knows if this is possible could they please let me know.

total irRemote?
Does that app let you type in the code for your TV? coz my kotron tv is not supported by irRemote, but i know the code.

Total irRemote lets you send codes for unsupported makes to the phone, so the program can then use those codes...visit www.psiloc.com for more info..
