supplied hands free headset has fault with mic

I can't get anyone to hear me with the headset. It just sounds very faint even if I shout. Anyone else had this problem? :-?

Nope, have not tried this but my left earphone is busted though.. everytime I raise the volum I get pops already..

On another note, are the stereo head phones half-duplex? I think they might be. Does anyone know? It just sounds that way as when I talk I can't hear the other person but when I use the old Ericsson handsfrees I can have two-way full duplex conversation.

It's a shame the quality of the headphones is not what I expect from Sony. I had the Nokia stereo headset and it was much better with a lead that was almost tangle free thanks to metal cabling. It sounded great too.

Is there an aftermarket pair from SE?
