Dear All,
I just collected my 9210i upgraded with the latest v6.0 firmware. However, I don't see any changes at all.
Anyone has the documented new features or bug fixed for v6.0?
At least I know that the bug on ringging volume (e.g: ascending ringing: where the 1st ring will be loudest, then back to lowest volume and ascending normally) is still NOT fixed!

NEW MCU SOFTWARE VERSION 6.00
New MCU software version 6.00 (RAE-5.600.exe/ All_Nokia_9210i_data_xx.sis) has been released for RAE-5.
Changes/improvements made from version 5.54 to version 6.00:
* Support for new memory circuit (new supplier for the component). The memory circuit will be changed in production (a separate Service Bulletin will be publish about that later) and new SW version is required to support the new memory circuit. The SW version 6.00 is also compatible with the old memory circuit but the old SW versions cannot be used with the new memory circuit. This change does not affect to the functionality or performance level of the device.
* CMT phonebook number selection list functionality improved
* Pressing accidentally a number key in a certain phase of the contact phone number list is now handled correctly.
* Clock & date reliability after battery removal improved
* Changes for French e-mail character set
* Changes for Hungarian e-mail character set
* Opening SMS folder when line has been changed from SIM ATK menu improved
* Tel Aviv added in World clock city list
* Operator list updated
RAE-5.600.exe and All_Nokia_9210i_data_xx.sis files:
(A 16 Mbyte DiskOnChip (DOC) flash memory is used with the flash file system, having user data and part of applications)
All_Nokia_9210i_data_xx.sis is used to install applications to DOC memory (see table).
Note: There is no separate Memory Card with RAE-5.

Looks like I just spent MYR50 on the upgrade that benefit me nothing!
I still find the search in contact database (w/ abt 1,841 records) very slow. (averaging 3~4 secs). Ony if Nokia can implement something like a pre-index together w/ a bigger cache for this contacts app, that shd help.
I took my 9210i to up-grade to sw vr 6.00 and I'll tell you soon how it works...
