Sorry to bother you, my 7650 got stolen, having some trouble now and no time to search the forum. I have a backup on the PC, but no synchro with outlook, and no 7650 anymore. How can I get my about 200 contacts out of the backup without the 7650? Is there any software to get the contacts into an excel ore txt file so I can read it?

I think this may work (not sure).....
Open the files one at a time in a text editor (notepad) - a lot of them are just plain text. I've found a number of things in them like password for my email etc un-encrypted.
There is a program which tweaks the backups, but I'm pretty sure you have to have it installed when you make the backup for it to be of any use.
