Seeing as we have a symbian product, and our phones can be flashed to firmware versions, will it be possible to upgrade our os? Should be interesting to see if its possible or not. Anyone got any ideas?

Once again, not possible. Each version of the phone software is made only for certain phone model. You cannot flash 3650 firmware to 7650, and also you cannot flash upcoming Series 60 2.0 software to any existing Series 60 1.x phone.

We DO NOT KNOW and CAN NOT KNOW -IF- it would be possible. IMHO, since the hardware is similar, probably a 3650 could be "upgraded" to the new release of S60 UI... but I can't be sure of that. There could be little (or big) differences that make this "porting" impossible. Only Nokia knows. But this is different from stating "it is impossible. point.". We just don't know. And nokia won't tell us.
And ONLY NOKIA can decide that - if it would be possible - it would be done.
But we can be SURE that Nokia will NOT do this, because they just want to SELL NEW PHONES. They don't want us to keep our phones for years, and then get them updated for free or for a few euros.
