Battery Help

I have a nokia 7650 still under warrenty. Anyway, i'm using a standard battery that came with it, and i only get half an hour talk time on a FULL charge !! And it's not the battery as i've tried different battery and still the same result, and on the nokia site is says 'Talk time up to 4 hours', what a load of shit, the phones expensive as hell and i'm getting half an hour talktime, piece of shit.

Bluetooth is off, GPRS is NOT being used, Only background application used is Keylock, no animated screensaver/wallpaper, and i'm using the default screensaver.

Firmware : V 4.46

Is the phone faulty and should i take it in or what ? i can't figure out whats wrong, i gave it in for warrenty once and on the sheet it said 'Tune RX and TX and tested within specs', i dont know what that means but the phone is still giving me same amount of talktime

Two faulty batteries perhaps? Are you using genuine Nokia BLB-2 batteries?

I can't see how your handset would be the problem. I've had mine for donkey years and the battery is fine. Mind you, I have 4 batteries 😃 because sometimes I don't go home for days on end 😉

Probably teachin to suck eggs, you need to charge a blb genuine nokia batt for at least 16hours first off, even when it says its full keep going for the duration, then completly discharge recharge 3 times. Batt life is also affected by the transmitter distance, further away it is, the worse batt life is.
