I have read through various posts and searched through the forum, but im still somewhat confused as to how this works.
I want to browse the internet on my N3650 without using up credit, but buying linking it with my computer and using that connection
I have BT (which works).
Is this possible? If so, what do i need to make it work (and where can i get it)?
p.s. apart from the initial internet fee that i pay on my computer, i should not be charged by my Network provider, right?
Thank you for your help... Would appreciate if all questions could be answered clearly and coherently.
Okay I found out how to do it...
The things ive tried installing Opera AND NetFront (via NPC Suite)
and the icon for the pregram is not appearing in my menu. This has never happened after installing a new prog. Another thing that was suspicious when installing was it didnt ask me what drive to install it to :-?
There doesnt seem to be any sign of it on my phone after looking around on it, as i dont wanna keep installing it to fill up my memory.
Anybody got any ideas what the hell is goin on?????/
seem to be answering my own questions here =/
But i found out why it wouldnt install, an error message appeared quickly at the end of installation saying 'There is not enough space on the disk'
So i assume i was running out of space on eith C or E drive
C Drive has 966.3kb available
E Drive has 7424kb available
Obviously there is not enough on C Drive but it should ask me what drive i wish to install it on, but it doesnt, otherwise i could select to install on E.
Anyone had this problem?
INSTALL opera in MAIN memory, there MUST be more than 2400kb of free memory.
whats the point of browsing the net on your phone if your PC is right there? wouldnt it be A)faster B)easier to see if you just use your comp? whats up?

First of all, I'd like to point ot that Arni said that he has BT, and not IR.. Meaning: he can stay connected to the pc as long as he's within 10m radius.. So, take for instance that his pc is in a room next to the living room and he'd like to sit in front of the TV( in living room) and still needs to be able to check an update on a web page.. It's MUCH easier and more fun to just grab the 3650 from the table and see how things are going, in stead of having to get up and run to the pc all the time, missing his favourite show on the tV.. 😉 Get the pic?
OR, maybe he'd like to have all his e-mail in his phone, and for saving the expence of downloading through GPRS, he can use the BT and his pc-connection.. 😉 Personally, I find it quite relaxing in the morning to be able to check with my phone wether an important e-mail has arrived or not.. has it not, I can just check out the latest news on my newspapers web page and fall back asleep.. 😉 or even use the connection to pc just to turn on the music I like.. to help me wake up.. I sleep in the same room as my PC is in, but it's 7m away from my bed.. And TRUST me.. Early in the morning,7m can feel like 70, If you're really tired.. 😃
Cheers

this is how the new generation of people are getting overweight, lol, i'd rather do it the proper way and use some energy to pick up a stick and start poking at the pc keys

Appreciate your concern,my friend.. However, I feel that I need to correct you on few points.. First of all, I'm not overweight at all! That I find it amusing to use gadgets that technology makes available today, doesn't neccessarily mean that I never do anything else in my life..Quite the contrary.. From the fall of ,I'm gonna be a paratrooper in the Norwegian Army.. And physical demands there are NOT low! So much for me..
To you: tell me, is typing on your PC really a thing to brag of,trying to prove your physical fitness?!
Cheers
