Problems connecting?

Is is just me or have any of you had problems cinnecting to this site? I haven't been able to access it all day. Same thing happened last week, maybe thursday or so. I have received notifications of posts so I guess some of you have been able to get through... I haven't been banned have I 😉

I've been having all sorts of problems connecting and with the site running very slowly, but Rafe says there's no problems at his end so any other problems are more likely to be your ISP. So he says anyway :P

Weird... Like yesterday I was able to browse everywhere else, including sites like Jordan's Symbian-world. The only sites I could not get to were AAS and the Symbian diaries, which I believe are on the same server. Same thing last thursday. And then suddenly in the evening it cleared. And my e-mail worked the whole time and like I said I received all the notifications from AAS. My IP-address is now slightly different from before the router crash (two last digits changed), but I cannot understand what that has to do with anything... Well, I'm no pro  If there is something I can do to solve this, please give me a hint. You can imagine my frustration when I see that people are having fun at the swamp and I cannot get there 😃

I haven't been able to get around it when it goes slow or fails to load for me... and I need you to keep things warm for me in the swamp 😉 I'm going in less than an hour and I won't be back till Saturday.

Honestly, this is not funny anymore. Again today, nothing, nada, 404, unable to load the page...

Again today. Now I'm using a dial-up modem and obviously different service provider and different IP and I am able to connect. But with the broadband - nope. Why an earth...

Hey!! Me too Laura, this has happened to me loads of times! At first i thought it was my ISP but now i know i'm not alone.Something strange is going on.

Problem like such had already made known to our administrators, most likely is the network traffic is high or congress on some switches or router busy or down. We will try to monitor this matters.

Just to add, I also have that same problem from time to time, sometimes can't access the site for a whole day...

Thank you for your comments guys. This time the blockout lasted about 24 hours, now it's working again from my bradband. Good to know that someone is looking into it and good to know I'm not alone 😃

I contacted my ISP and they adviced me to do the 'tracert' -query which I did. Whenever AAS is functioning properly, I can reach it with 25 or 26 hops over the internet. When it's down/invisible to me, tracing does not even begin. I told the service provider this, and they just stated that it's either something along the way or in AAS itself. Very helpful 😮 Well, 25 hops is plenty of of possibilities for a router jam, so I guess there's not much I can do.
