I bought a Bluetooth Y-210 off e-bay. This gadget came from Singapore and enclosed was a mini cd rom with appropriate drivers and software.
The problem was that the cd rom did not have the drivers for the Y-210 and run successfully in Windows ME. I complained and they sent another mini cdrom...still no drivers.
Q: Does anyone know where i can download the necessary driver?
Q: Has anyone have or had the same problem?
I ended up buying a USB IR gizmo thingy from Link for a huge amount of money, but still would like to use the Bluetooth unit!!
There advise was to send the whole package back at my expense!! Which i have not as yet!
Any ideas?
If its based on the wildcomm stack, try the bilington drivers, search the forum for bilington.
OK!
I will list the software that came with it!
XTNDConnectBlueManager.exe (version 2)
MPhone (setup file)
No drivers
Dongle is "Bluetooth Wireless Dongle - Y-210"
System i use Windows ME
Still none the wiser!!
😞

I didn't send it back as i have not had time!! Busy at work!
But still have not sourced any drivers.
Incidentally i was browsing e-bay a couple of days ago and the same person is still selling them. So i sent an e-mail requesting the appropriate driver or support. There reply was to send the lot back and they will refund the money!!! So much for support!! Gonna e-mail them again and request they e-mail me the driver in question. If it works then i will e-mail it onto you, no probs.
The person in question that i bought the Y-210 Bluetooth dongle from can be found/e-mailed at [email protected]
Is this the same person you bought yours off???
I had a bluetooth dongle that came with the mini-cd with XTNDConnect Blue Manager on it. Mine had the drivers and worked perfectly. Until the dongle broke.
Now I'm using a Trust bluetooth adapter and the Widcomm software.
I still have the mini-cd with the drivers on though if anyone needs it.
I have has success with these drivers - solved all my problems.

I also use the OLD mrouterserial.dll file that came on the original 7650 CD too else mrouter will not see any com ports..
Best
Will
Considering that is a driver file! It is a bit on the huge size!!!! 😮
Update,
I have managed the following. 😊
I decided to re-install the BlueTooth Manager and via this software with a bit of tweeking, to be honest dont ask how cos i have no idea it worked, i can finally see my 7650 via bluetooth. 😃
I can only communicate through Blue Manager and can only send files, ringtones.
I can't yet communicate via bluetooth through PCSuite which is what i wanted in the first place. :x
I still use my IR usb cable for that.
