UIQ Emulator and internet access?

1 replies · 3,374 views · Started 25 June 2003

Hi, I tried UIQ SDK emulator with internet access and had no luck so far (see link [1] below).

Nullmodem cabel between COM1 and COM4 (I verified comminication is working). mRouterLite does never stop negotiating hardware. I monitored what is happening on COM ports, I have a program EPMWOR~1.EXE (what is it for?) sending AT+CGSN every few seconds with 9600 and 115200 baud. I did terminate that thread and brawl on COM1 stoped.

However, mRouterLite is still not happy and does not "synchronize" with emulator. It keeps showing a red icon in systray.

Used system:
Windows XP
emulator from UIQ 7 SDK
mRouterLite from S60 SDK

Anyone made this work?

Please post your Cdbv3.dat (in \Epoc32\Wins\c\system\data folder),
if you have the following configuration working:

UIQ-P800 Emulator + XP + mRouterLite

Note: This should work directly without need for a RAS setting.
Thanks, Mark
