Where are the apps ?

There's a relatively simple answer for that (IMO). Symbian 7 with UIQ is a new OS with only one device currently supporting it. For software houses prioritising their development work, the earlier OS's wih there larger installed user bases are far more financially promising. If you develop software for OS7\UIQ, it's currently only going to run on a very expensive phone that not many people have.

I'm afraid there is a price to pay for being on the bleeding edge!
