Ok, so I did a search and couldn't find what i was looking for. I had my p800 set up to use as a modem with my Mac Powerbook and things were fine and dandy. iSync 'ing and send file works just fine. I used to be able to use my p800 as a modem at some point, but now it does not work. I don't use it often, so a lot of things could have changed since I successfully used it last. I know that Ive probably updated my OSX software (with the iSync Upgrade) and I had to reset my phone, so Ive since lost and reinstated my GPRS settings. But now I cant seem to use the p800 as a modem. I get a Failed to connect RFCOMM serial error Check to see if authentication is needed Ive tried about every setting I could think of, but no luck, same error everytime. Any ideas?
P800 Mac OSX 10.2.6 GPRS Modem RFCOMM Error
go to www.macupdate.com and search for 'GPRS', there are a couple of packs of modem scripts that may help. If you can't find one for the P800, I suspect ones for the T68i might work...
if you read a couple of lines down the forum page, you would've seen a post .. i think it's a similar problem to yours .. check this site:

The RFCOMM error is to do with you Bluetooth stack. The best thing you can do is reset your handset by taking the battery off while it is turned on, and make sure you have the latest Bluetooth upodtae from Apple. I belive there is an update especially for the P800. I don't knpow if you can reinstall these at all in OSX?
Also if you have played withyour Internet Accounts on the phone, then you may have trouble with your CID numbers. Ericsson phones give each internet account a number so when dialling you can choose which account to start. Trouble is the P800 does not tell you what these numbers are, so if you previoulsy dialled *99***4# (4 being the CID number) then deleted it and created a new account, it may be that that number has changed. The taniwha.org scripts don't require CID numbers, but in my experience I have never needed them anyway.

Already tried it, I have these settings. I believe the problem is in my Mac, not in the phone. It doesn't want to connet as a modem via blutooth. I also tried picked up the modem scripts from taniwha.org. I think that my specific question pertains to whether or not anyone has been able to connect in OSX 10.2.6 and how they do it.
