Hello to you all. Although this is my first post, I've been following this forum for a while, as it has really helped me understanding a little about my 9210i (and I thank you people for that... 😃 ).
But now, I've got a problem: I gave a 7650 to my wife (tons of photos of the new baby...), and I have only one PC at home. Has anyone tried to install both PC suites in one computer??? Will it just explode??? Will it turn to HAL9000???

Well, first of al i wud like to give u a warm welcome! 😉

Anyway, yup! i have tried to install both pc suite in a single computer. its not a 7650 thou. Well if problems presists. The best way to go is "Double OS"! it will surely guarantee you of a more stable working environment. And dnt u wory, it wnt blow up. Well i think it rather depends on how old the unit is... ur computer. & the next issue is, wat operating system are u using. Its jst a matter of compatibility issues for me!

is it warm enuf? 😉

Anyway, another thought here. The only problems i encountered w it is w d conflicting resources. Not that rily familiar w the technicalities, but its got sumthn to do w d serial or com ports. I remember dat my modem stopd working wen in installed d Pc suite for my 9210i. I guess it also depends on wat kind of connection are u using. (i.e., IR or Cable)

I think d proper question is, wat u gona use d PC suite for? is it for backup purposes only? Well, wat i did i jst used a USB Card Reader wer i pluged my MMC in. That will surely speed up the process! assuming that al the data u wnt to backup is in there. well its quite easy thou to transfer files to the MMC, as long as u have enough free space for it. Have u tried backing up a full 64MB or even a 128 thru d Data cable? its like... cnt describe it! well only one way to find out! 😃
