Damaged Nokia 3650

Hello guys!

I also encountered the same problem. When I turn my phone, the nokia sign will appear but then it will fade out then the sign reappears then fades out.

I only had this phone for almost a month. I placed it for repairs.

I did not even drop the phone. It was working that night and after certain minutes, it's dead.

Bummer...

Please help! I know there are alot of techies out here. I appreciate any information you give. =)

The bold text sums it all up, sadly.

Only Nokia have the equipment to fix it when it goes like that. 😞

Thank you for replying, J2K.

Yes, they told me that Nokia will fix it. I hate when this happens. Do you know what other "bugs" does this phone has?

had the sam e problem with mine.

Took it to a Nokia service centre who said they couldn't fix it and it'll have to go back to Nokia, who will probably give me a reconditioned phone.

I said I wasn't happy with a recon so I took it back into my local Vodafone store who swapped it over straight away.

The woman also gave me the new phone with the memory card in it, even though I had taken it out the one I gave her.

Well done Vodafone, second time they've swapped it. Had a "system Error" message every time I did anything on my first one.

That is bad. Thank you so much for sharing your concern.

I have a feeling that my phone will also not be fixed. I always think positive and hope the phone can be fixed soon. I need it badly as I rely on it for emergency purposes.

I tested the battery before bringing it back to the store and the battery seems to be working a-okay. I even swapped battery with my cousin and it seems the phone will not boot up.

Such a shame...I am thinking of going to another manufacturer. Please help me...how can I rely again on Nokia.

Hello guys!

Damn! My phone has been fixed by the Nokia Service Center here in my country.

Wow!!! I will get it after 1 week. They made a reformat and upgraded it. I do not know the details but I hope it will stay fixed. =)

Thank you for all the encouragement!!! 😉

man, have you got to post that same message in so many different threads?!

...as for other bugs, one that gets on my nerves is the one that makes you turn on the vibration so you can get a loud call signal... with vibration off it will ring in the lowest volume...

😉[/quote] AND where do you live mekeni

My fone did the same, took 2 weeks to get it fixed. And now front + back covers are loose as hell, they creak badly too. Damn the Nokia repair centre! Sounds like your fone will be spending some time at Nokia's dungeon too.

Hello there!

I am sorry for posting. I was too elated and had to reply to some of my regular postings here.

That is some sort of a bug huh? The volume thing...

Thank you for that info. I hope they will not do that on my phone. I will tell them to change my covers with a new one. He he he...
