Hi,
My office just got a wi-fi lan which works on some 802.11b or something. Can I use the 7650 to access the internet using this as an access point?
Cheers,

the 7650 is in no way wi-fi enabled or any other phine available in the market toda, excluding phone enabled PDAs with built-in or sdo cards wi-fi.
but its not all bad news cos' all you need is to get a bluetooth adapter, connect it to the wi-fi internet enabled computer, do the necessarry driver installation, then setup a gprs access point on your phone with the 0.0.0.0 IP address......and bob's your uncle, you can surf to hearts content. 😃
hope that helps!!! 😊
Thanks mate, but I think bluetooth offers only a 10m range i think....so I think its not really that useful. Are there adapters in the market with higher ranges?
Thanks for the reply anyways...
Cheers

Belkin has a 100m range but unfortunately the 7650 is limited to 10m.
You can buy a Bluetooth Access Point to increase indoor range.
