Does anyone know the API to access the GSM half rate codec on the P800? SE support have been useless.

Sorry Chris_Isaacs, can't help you on that. Why you wanna access the half rate codec?

As you may know our application transmits voice over GPRS and the full rate codec is too large for this and introduces unessecary delay. Sony Ericsson have just replied back to me saying that this is restricted to developers. They dont support any other half rate codec by the way. The phone supports it in playback but we need to record using this codec too.
