Ho to use your 3650 like WebCam [FREEWARE]

I don't know if this app is intened to work with the 7650 but it doesn't.It doesn't even start.

Works on my 3650 - very impressive.

Can this be streamed to a webpage???

In my industry I can think of MANY applications for this 😉

You have to use additional software,like softcam in order to stream to a webpage

i tried to download,but it says that no link found(404 error) :-?

That may be because you are linking to it while viewing it via the google english translator?
- go back to the italian site and then it should download just fine 😊

Thanks Ghostdog - got softcam & webcam32 up and running with it now, streaming over GPRS from phone to server then onto the webpage - works pretty good 😊

i love this app.easy to use,freeware....great.But dont know why i can only save 5 minutes of streamnig video on my comp?

Can't download it, a popup comes up, I think it's asking me to register/login. I dont even wanna try and do that as its all in Italian (i think) and i cant understand any of it! I dont see how you guys got it???

Ok, its very good, but is there a way i can use it on MSN Msnger? Cos i try and start a 'Webcam' conversation, but it says it cant detect a Webcam. 😞 I have Mobilewebcam open.

have you tried with "softcam" from Luminositi?

yes, but in the monitor viewer, the picture wasnt streaming

ok i download it i got two files. do i sent them to my phone or install one on my computer and the other on the phone

I wish there was a program that could do this over bluetooth...
I don't have the need to enable gprs really.

EAX - It does work over bluetooth.
Just get your connection with mRouter - enter your PC's IP and away you go.

ANYBODY managed to get this working on MSN, if so...how?

My objective is to use my 3650 on MSNM with a friend who also has a webcam. I have downloaded the necessary software (which i understood to be necessary from other forums) which are:

Softcam
WebcamXP
Remote S60

and I use a Bluetooth connection.

Could somebody explain in numbered steps on how to reach my objective?

Install 'softcam' from www.luminositi.com

Get a connection with Mobile web so you can see the stream from your phone on your desktop.

Start netmeeting or whatever comms software you have configured to use with MSN, 'softcam' will then open too - put it into 'live' mode and a window will appear on screen, whatever is 'under' that window is what gets streamed so move it on top of the streaming video from mobile web and away you go..
