Yesterday was a very special day in my life.
My first phone was a Nokia 8210 but that is long ago!
Since years I used Siemens Phones like
Siemens S45
Siemens SL45i
Siemens S55
I always thought they're good and that it is normal for a phone
to crash sometimes is you hardcore-use it.
Yesterday my brand new Nokia 3650 arived.
I was supprised that the integrated camera does better
pictures without flash light than the Siemens S55 does with it.
Also it was very comfortable to look at a display that is much
bigger than my thumbnail 😃
I quickly recognized that is was wrong... thinking Siemens phones
currently rule the mobile world.
I played around with it the howle day...
the first day.... the first hour... my Siemens S55 turned
of because i changed the folders to quick in the file explorer.
There were many more bugs(many many more!!!) on the Siemens
but on the Nokia? hmm
Should it really be true that the phone has (at least nearly)no bugz in the default software coming with it...
It also has some kind of task manager and all the memory i can fill up with pictures and stuff... also Symbian is pretty much perfect... but
are there any bugs?
I found none....

It's good to hear that you like the phone. I also love the phone. Mine was busted but it is under repair. There was one bug I noticed. When trying to communicate with another phone using bluetooth, my phone crashes.
Well, that was just one incident and it did not happen again. Don't know why...

there are some progs,that you shouldnt install,like wildskinz...Also what FW do you have.,i have 2.50,and there are no bugs.

At siemens i just entered *#06# but the phone shows only the |ME|

Is it possible to update the version some day if a newer exists?
At my Siemens i just downloaded an update and connected the phone via cradle, than the software flashed the phone and updated the version.
Were to get those updates from?
R they free downloadable :infinity: ?
The only definate bug I know of with the 3650 (not sure if it is fixed post v2.50) is if you set one of the softkeys to Video Recorder, it launches Sound Recorder instead.

If your phone is under warranty, you may get free updates from your local Nokia Service Centre.
You can only upgrade the software yourself if you own the required specialist equipment, which costs a lot of money, so it's easier and cheaper to have it done at an NSC.
yea,there is 3.13 FW,but as IVOMIR told it is not good.2.50 is the great one.

There are always bugs, it is almost impossible to code software which is bug free.
I believe there also is abug where the phones will turn themselves off even when plugged it or fully charged.
my 3650 aslo turned of by himself sometime,but it was caused by CRACKED programm.
I'm on my third 3650 from CarphoneWarehouse now.
All three V2.50 Firmware.
All 3 lose between 1-5 mins a day on clock, NO extra software installed.
If I use OnetoGo Software on any of these phones and use onetogo to do a reboot, i can lose like 8-12 hrs(always backwards in time not ever into the future, strange).
Anyway thought this might be on topic so posted it.
i do not have any cracked software or any other software on my phone and it turns it self off. 😞
I was using InfraRed to sync with PC Suite, and when the infrared connection dropped midway, the phone hung! Only way to reboot was to remove the battery. Happened twice already.
And as usual, some software will crash on the phone after some time. I get that with Active Desk, sProfiles, WebViewer, etc. Not sure we need to reboot after a crash like our Win98 desktop.
Lastly, when you remove software from the phone, some files are not removed from the system. Try using Handy File and you'll see what I mean.

i keep loosing time on my clock but found out its when i connect with ir my pc syncs the time with my 3650 . dont think there is anyway round this
Why doesn't my composer work?
It just sais... "System Error" and then quits. :-?
i've never had any of these problems,m except the video recorder softkey launches the sound recorder softkey. Does this happen in the other firmware versions.Also is there any point upgrading my firmware?
If i start the ringtone editor it always says "System error" and quits.
What can i do?
I do not need this application but i want it to work correctly !!!!! :x
