How many P800s sold?

I work on a floor with 600 other people in a bank in London and every day you hear more and more distinctively Sony P800 ring tones, tunes or effects or that irritating baby scream off the demo video! They're turning up everywhere as those with the cash to spare buy them and set them up at work with good download speeds....
Managed to buy mine on an internet site for 60 pounds about 4 months ago, yay!

Managed to buy it from this site: http://www.onestopphoneshop.co.uk/ on a one year contract, where I had to pay 45 pounds a month for 4 months and then change to whatever monthly contract I wanted after that point. I personally spend more than 45 pounds a month on calls and GPRS on the phone anyway (90 pounds last month, argh!!!!)
I think loads of people must have jumped on the 60 pounds offer because they put the price up to about 120 pounds within a couple of weeks!!! Its currently 84.99 on the same plan now.
Definitely one of the cheapest phone sites I've ever seen on the net.... 😃

Ahh ok I see. Well here in Australia on the Optus Network, I got my P800 for free on a $99 per/mth plan (40 pounds per/mth) with $70 worth of included calls. Call rates are very good too. What was was even better was that I got a free SE T100. 2 phones for free... was an awesome, awesome deal. 😃 😃 😃

How could anyone say no to that??? 😉

I think its cause the Australian market is much smaller, to get the phones out there, they have to offer great deals... well compared internationally anyway. Its weird though, I have not seen anyone with a P800, even though I have helped heaps of people in Australia configure their P800's on the Optus Network.

Strange eh?

Me and my best mate got ours the day orange released them over here, we had to ask them cos they didnt have any pos or anything, mine for 200 on 25, also get 33% off line rental 8) He got his on 15/month for 300. I have added text and GPRS bundles since cos i was spending soo much! I know three other p800s personally, and see them at work a bit.

here in the Philippines many nokia users are switching to SE and the good thing here is they are buying the P800. sad to say here in the office i am the only one using P800. im the envy of everyone!!! hahahaha 😃 😃 😃
