Have a strange problem, my 9210 will not display the name of people
calling, only the phone number, unless i copy the contact detail from the
device to the sim(phone and pda side do same.
Any ideas, have done a reset, a format and manully added contact and still
no names when people ring..
Have made sure phone is set to use device mem not sim.
Am running firmware 4.13

Perhaps you have the contacs list database on your MMC. If this is true, you have to copy the list to the device to can see the names of the people. Try with this...
This has cropped up a few times; some things to look for are

Ensure you have any given number only once. For example, I had the same number for my mum and my dad in separate entries and so, when one of them rang from the house, no name came came up.
You may want tp play with the format of the number - ie, try storing it in international format if it isn't already, and vice versa.
Make sure the contacts are in the 'Contacts' database (known as 'Device' on the phone side) and not an extra database you may have created on the memory card.

Ah we have a fix adding +44 sorted.
