sharing GPRS with PC via bluetooth

right....sharing your net conenction with your mobile via bluetooth is dead easy

any way to use the bluetooth modem to give net access to your PC

i have set up pc to use phone as a modem with dialup, but i'd much rather use GPRS

anyone done this?

I'm not 100% sure this works on the 7650 'cause I haven't tried it but most phones let you dial up over GPRS by changing the dialup number in the PC's settings to *99#. This will tell the phone to use your default access point instead of using the dial-up settings. I don't think the username and password settings on the PC have any effect in this case.

If it's not your default connection you want to use, try numbers like *99***1#, *99***2#, *99***3# etc., which should correspond to the different access points you have set up.
