Was just wondering if I can use the contacts.cdb file on a P800 as a friend has my 7650 and so was wondering if there was a way to "import" or use the contacts database file?

i think it is not possible. try to synchronize your contacts first in outlook and use it to transfer the contacts to the other phone.
You can't do that. tho' both phones are Symbian OS but the format are all different.
