can anybody pls. tell me is there any way i can play 7650 games (.jar) on my 9210? the reason i asked for this bcoz i managed to make TIPICME IM to work on my mobile after downloading MIDP RUNTIME, now when i get jar files as games and start to isntall it gives me a lot of errors, like "INSTALL SERIES60 PRODUCTIONID" anothter thins is "note is invalid", are there any other stuff that i need to download?

there are a few free games specifically designed for 9210 at www.spruce.org.
most do not work for unknown reasons. driver game and notes work though.
please tell me where and how to have a tipme for 7650 to work in 9210. thanks.

The MIDP 1.0 Java spec is very, very limited in terms of features and functionality.
Most devices have device/platform specific extensions to MIDP 1.0 that are not available on other devices.
That is also true for MIDP 1.0 for the Series 60 (Nokia 3650, 7650, etc.), which means that midlets written for the Series 60 MIDP (and which use the extensions there), will not work on devices not based on Series 60 (that includes the Nokia Communicator series).
MIDP 2.0 has more functionality, but many things are still "optional" (which means that all vendors will not implement everything), but there are no MIDP 2.0 phones out yet. The only one that's announced (but not shipping), as far as I'm aware, is the Nokia 6600.

in regards to the tipicme.... i attached the downloadable app here but you have to log in first before you see the file. if ever your are having problems installling the app. pls refer to MULTIMEDIA FOR 9210, then look for the topic titled MSN MESSENGER 😊 in my case i downloaded the MIDP 1.0 for 9210... but i cannot remmeber where i got it...

Once in, select Technologies -> Java -> Tools and SDKs -> MIDP Software for Nokia 9210 Communicator.
