After running the benchmarkprogram (JBenchmark) some times i thought make some memory free would improve the result (got beaten by a p800 by 70 points...) so i deleted two programs (a game and Eye video recorder). I closed the phone and started it again (to get optimal result). But the phone didnt start, it just died like you see in the movie, it keep on doing that, even if i connect the charger to it. I have tryed to take out the battery, take out the sim, let it rest for a time. Well nothing works, i will leave it to Vodafone next week but do anyone here have any idee of what happend to my phone, its very weird.... And it have nothing to do with the memory, i had around 2 MB free when it happend. I think i have firmware 4.37.

you can just get it flashed at a nokia service center without needing vodafone to sort it out via insurance claim
Have you tried starting in safe mode?
Hold down the 'abc' key whilst you switch on.. this will bypass any apps you have running which may be causing the problem.
Or if you have sLauncher installed
Turn the phone off
Plug in charger
wait 30 secs
Push and hold 'menu' key
This will get you into the Slauncher menu even thou the phone is off where you can try installing - uninstalling your apps..
Worth a go 😊
Will
.
The ABC trick didnt work and i dont have SLauncher installed 😞
But i think something in the hardware is damaged because when i plug in the charger the phone start up (well try to start up). Thats not normal...
And this should be on the warranty, right?
The same thing happend to my 7650 😞 . So I unpluged the battery and card. 12 hours later, plug then in again and the 7650 wake up OK 😊 .

Had a similar experience with my 7650!
Turns out the on/off button was knackerd and had become over/undersensitive depending on how you pressed it (duuh).
Now I have to press it really hard if i want to start her up.
Any1 else had similar problems?
