i don't have opera installed at the moment, but when i installed it yesterday for the sake of my website, all my bookmarks from previously were still their
Are you sure nothing happens?
Do you get the page you asked for?
Does the small stacked windows icon in the lower right area light up?
Bear in mind that windows are full screen.
A quick trawl through the file system whilst connected to your PC should show you where the bookmarks for Opera are -- start with any folder called 'Opera'.
Because 'uninstall' does not usually clear up the file system, your bookmarks will be retained between installs.
same thing with me. opera doesnt open any page. i just uninstalled it. :robot:
i have the same problem. Does any body has a solution to this problem.....
Opera does not use a WAP-Internet connection. Please do a search to find out information on how to create the correct internet connection on your network to enable Opera to work.
unninstall, and delete manually all opera folders. (unninstall dont delet all files/folders.) The following folders on my C: disk vas manuall deleted before new installation. (Opera vas installed on D: disk)
c:\documents\opera-folder
c:\system\apps\opera-folder
c:\system\data\opera-folder
c:\system\data\web-folder
d:\libary\apps\opera-folder (sometimes this folder is not deleted by uninstall)
Now ok! (and another lesson about not taking backup after every major change/install is learned)
before del. copy the file "bookmarks" in c:\system\data\web-folder, to pc. After new inst. copy back to c:\system\data\web-folder -and your old bookmarks is back again.
