I dont wanna connect to the internet to use Agile Messenger on my phone, i was wondering if there was a way of connecting over BT and using the internet connection on my computer to use Agile Messenger.
Can Agile Messenger be used over Bluetooth?
Sorry to post this twice, was in the middle of submitting it and realised i hadnt logged in (Which would have annoyed me). But it looks like it got posted twice anyway. Feel free to delete the other thread.
Yes. You can establish a connection to the internet via bluetooth and use it with agile messenger.
how because, i was connected with BT, but it was still using GPRS/WAP...
This it how i used it:
1.) established bt connection between phone and pc
2.) started agile messenger
Are you sure, that the bt connection is really up? Test your bt connection!
If agile messenger ist startet without an established bt connection, it will ask you, which connection should be used for, and this is in your case the GPRS connection.
thanks, ur a genius....working.
Man! i should remember to login 😮ops: that last one was me. Thanks again m8.
I cant get this to work.
I started up my BT connection, but it wont come up on the connections.
When I try and send things from the fone to the PC it says "max number of connections already established" however I can send stuff from PC to fone.
Hummm.. what do you suggest? Could be PC settings? I looked around, but couldnt see anything. Oh yeah and my BT dongle is connected via USB not serial, so no nokia software is working for me either.
thanks

Well I still can't get it to work. I'm using a Nokia 6600. Is it possible to connect? I've heard something about that Nokia hasn't developed some protocols for my phone and that's why I can't connect. Is this true?
