How do I run IR Remote?

Dear Sir,

I have Nokia 3650 (Firmware 3.13). I just downloaded the 14 day trial version of IR Remote from www.psiloc.com. I am completely at a loss to know as to how I can make it work with my Panasonic Mini Hi Fi (Panasonic SC-VK550). In fact, I do not not know how to go about it at all. I have only been able to select Panasonic Hi Fi as the device. What do I do after that?? Can you please tell me the steps? I could not find the product brochure anywhere. What can be the maximum distance of the phone from the Panasonic Mini Hi Fi SC-VK 550 (it is a VCD player plus a twin tape deck) or for that matter any other IR device like TV, VCR etc.? I can only define manufacturer and appliance type. It works on my JVC hi-fi and VCR, but not the TV. Is this just a limitation of the trial version?

It is not the limitation of trial version. The problem is that I am not able to use it at all.

I have sort of the same problem, I tried the remote option with 3 different tv's, 2 different dvd players and 1 vcr. none worked.. :S
