9290 questions - firmware and restore to default?

Hi All,

First of all, I have v3.35 for firmware and it seems that 5.07 is available. Is there a way to upgrade this? Is there any reason to?

Besides that, if I want to restore my system back to factory default, how can I do that?

Regarding the Upgrade, you can do this only at Nokia Service Center. If the phone is still in warranty (I doubt due to current RAE version) you can do it for free. If not, it will cost you 50$. Upgrading brings more stability- But I have seen ppl with your curent version living happy 😉

To restore to factory settings you need to Format your device and reinstall. If you have been backing up your device after a fresh install (to MMC or PC), use that to restore it.... if you are talking about phone side, not PDA, this can be done from the phone side menu 😉
