Ahh .. yes sorry forgot about that ... GPRS or HSDC

😉

But not via bluetooth, although you can share an internet connection with your pc via bluetooth. Do a search on this forum there's HEAPS of info on that.
Ahh .. yes sorry forgot about that ... GPRS or HSDC
For what it's worth, HSCSD = High-Speed Circuit Switched Data = meaning using more than one timeslot. However, WAP works also through simple, one timeslot 9.6K dial-up (= no HSCSD), too.

Using it over Bluetooth would require WAP over Bluetooth support (which can be done technically, as Bluetooth doesn't care what transport/application protocols you implement over it). However, that's not enough as then the Bluetooth access point/router would have to be able to pass the WAP traffic on to wherever you want to connect (some WAP sites are accessible through the "regular" internet, but not all of them).

hi there! How can you use your 7650 with your pc's internet connection via bluetooth? how do you do that? 😉

I'm in a good mood,so here is a small topic i excidently tripped on: http://www.allaboutsymbian.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=13762&highlight=internet+sharing

In the future, please search the forum before repeating a question.

I guess this may sound a little naive, but why would anyone want to connect their phone to the internet on their PC via bluetooth when they have the internet on the PC itself!
