I am an Orange User. To check my phone bill status, I need to send an SMS to a short number-416.
I use to send blanks from phone side, but each time when I must type the 416 number I found that 9210 puts a phone number by default:97255369864.
I need to clear this This means 11 times pressing clear button, an then type my 416 number.
How can this be solved?

I don't think that you can change it from your phone. Try another model,like 7110,which i used to have. It has this feature! To see if the default sender number is activated, just watch the number which is showing, everytime you want to send an sms. Is it the same number?

Use another mobile phone. The11digit number has been stored in your sim card. Put your sim card into another mobile phone,like 6110 or 7110 and find the sms settings. Replace the 11digit number with blank. If you don't have mobile go to a nokia center to help you.
