is there a way to backup the data and the contacts/phonebook from the phone memory? How? PC Suite for 9210i can backup only data files such as documents and SMS.

How come? PC Suite can backup all data - including the phonebook.

But if you'd like to save contacts separately and in a readable form, export them with Contacts Manager.

U sure abt dat? wat PC suite ver r u using?
Anyway, if backing up Contacts is ur prob u can also make a new database from the contacts menu then select all or simply enter "Ctrl A" then "menu" then "copy to" select the desired database then violla! 😉 ... jst wait til its done. dnt forget to make a copy of the new database thou. its usually stored in the MMC under system/data. keeping 1 will sure come in handy. It wud also be advisable to kip 1 in ur PC for keeps! 😉

If u wnt a NO BRAINER SOLUTION jst copy the whole phone & MMC directory to ur PC by clicking the NOKIA 9210 Icon on ur desktop! 😉
