I have just replaced my 7650, and have attempted to restore the back-up from my previous phone using PCSuite.
However, neither the contacts nor the SMS were restored, even though everything else (WAP bookmarks, images, apps etc) were.
With contacts, this is not such a big issue, as I have uploaded these separately.
The odd thing is, all the SMS files ARE ON THE PHONE, and by using FExplorer I have found all the .dat files uploaded into C:/System/Mail as the correctly named files, they just don't show up in the Messaging interface.
Anyone else had this problem? And know how to solve it??
