Die!!! I accidently delete many files from the c:\system\mail\ folders and the SMS settings tab and Area tab from the Control Pannel->Connections-> Messaging accounts went missing!!!! Me and my icthy fingers!!!
Anyway... i restored my phone from my last backup and THANKS GOD it's restore everything as one of the user have attempt.
Lesson to learn:
Never delete any files from the system\mail folders!! It's may delete some of the settings from the phone or worst..... crashed and dead.

As an incidental issue, but almost on thread --
I couldn't figure where all my internal memory had gone; was down to about 2MB free.
Had moved all pictures to the Duo, as with video and anything else I could find and still had a full internal memory.
THEN I discovered my email SENT items folder.
Did I really send all those pictures to all those people -- wow, must've been stoned! 😮
Deleted everything in sent items and tra-la, 6MB space arrived back. 8)
Moral: If you are short of space, delete your sent items!
As a side-benefit, it knocks about 10 minutes off the backup time as well.
