hello,

hopefully someone will be able to help me. i have a 9210 and recently whenever i try to write a mail message i get either an error note saying 'not found', this is when i try to write a new mail from my inbox. if i use the shortcut on the side panel of the desktop then i get the error note 'unexpected end of file' can anyone tell me why i am getting these messages or what i can do to make it so i can write mail. i have tried taking the battery out, as well as getting task manager and using that. neither have worked, please can someone suggest why this is happening!!!

thanks

steve

Try moving your mail box to the D: (or C: if it's on D: - and if you have enough room) - if this doesn't work then try re-installing the all_nokia_9210_data.sis (from CD or nokia Web site)

HTH

One hter idea may be to delete the Messaging Apps .ini initialisation file and allow the app to create a new one. Try deleteing c\System\apps\MSGSMSEDITOR\msgsmseditor.ini and ditto for mcentre.ini

I think a re-install of the data .sis is needed, this error is commonly seen on a missing file or corrupted libnrayr/picture file.
