May i know that when Nokia 7650 goes into idle mode, if there is any way to make the symbian os call my own application immediately. For example , i wanna make a screen saver application for Nokia 7650 like a screen saver for Windows. Is that possible ?

It can be done (or at least there's already such a product: Psiloc Screen Saver).
