Could someone please tell me how to resolve my problem. each time I am going to retrieve my e/mail or try to connect to the net, I always have the same error message...
Phone is Blacklisted. Contact cellular network provider...
This is very annoying, as I bought my 9210 in an official shop here in Greece, never declared it stolen, paying my bills on time (yes, yes!!!), controled 100.000 times all settings, spoke to my ISP, did an update to 3.54, spoke to Nokia, etc...
And no one knowes about that matter. The only solution offered to me (by M Jerz, from My Communicator.com) is maybe it has something to do with the IMEI number...
If someone experimented the same problem, or someone has a solution, I WOULD BE VERY HAPPY....
Thanks.
9210 is Blacklisted
It would be being black listed by your mobile phone provider. I suggest you contact them to talk about it. Its not the fault of you internet provider or Nokia, buth rather the network provider.
That if I understand black listing correctly.
If the phone is blacklisted, then you cannot make any calls etc.. It's mean your phone cannot access to network. But, if you can do phone calls and your sms goes OK, then fault is in your Internet provider.. it just gives that "your phone is blacklisted..." for some stupid reason.
Regards
Thanks to both of you. The strange thing is that no one, either Nokia or either my ISP, can give me an answer. It seems that they blame each others... But I believe that this has to do with my ISP, as this message comes only when I try to connect to the NET or when I retrieve my e/mails. I can send / receive sms, do / receive phone calls...
The phone is great, but I work in the Software Indusry, and I need it for my business... No net, no e/mail... no $$$. I must find a solution to resolve this matter.
Keep my informed, if you have some news...
Regards.
im from bombay, india. even i've had the same problem many times before. but nothing to worry. every time i get that i just reboot the phone by taking out the battery & then waiting for 10mins before trying to connect to the internet again. i guess this usually happens because of the network overload. change the access phone no & try again. Another way to do this is to try open a website & when ur online press messaging & then click retrieve mail or send email. this usually works better.
hope it helps.let me know.

Thanks for your quick reply
What do you mean by...
change the access phone no & try again
In Greece, we have several ISP providers, but with nly 1 access phone number, so...
Regards
in india we also have many ISP's but some of them have 2 or 3 access phone nos. Anyways the best way is to open the internet & start logging onto a site & then when u are online...click on the messaging & do what u want to. this always works for me. though i yet wonder what this problem is...is it in the phone.... from network operator? lets hope we can figur it out.
I am from Greece and a PAOK fan, too.
Here are some thoughts
1. The phone company (Telestet, Panafon or Cosmote) blacklisted your phone, maybe because you authorized the bill payment through credit card, and the credit card editor refuses to allow your mobile phone's bill (card stolen and annulated or expired, or credit limit has been reached or the credit card payment is overdue , etc.)
2. With system lock code activated and the option "on SIM change" checked, you switched SIM cards
3. Though you are already connected to your Internet Service Provider through a PC or MAC, you try to connect to the same ISP using the same active username and password, this time through your 9210; in such a case you receive a drop-out message which differ from one ISP to another - maybe there is one, where the blacklisted message is automaticaly produced on your screen
So long
Please note I have moved this topic to he Communicator forum because it is more relavent here. If you think we need others forums let me know.

Sorry guys but it's better to explain in my language some things to my friend. Any way. The problem i think it's not some fault on 9210 but the common call number of the net provider over the all Greece country. It's difficulty the net to regognize where him send the call because the common number it's same for many net knots ( major city's)over the country. I think for this reason sent back this message. On Athens i have not problem at all but on Thessalonica have same problem. Also my phone say (You 're under black-list) and bla bla.
Best regards
Chris
Thanks to all of you answering my request.
Rafe, by the way, no problems at all!!! Your the Master!
Question to Dimitri (Paokara ole). What do you mean by... With system lock code activated and the option "on SIM change" checked, you switched SIM cards... Boris na mou exigisis kalitera pos boro na to enlexo...
Message to ( ??? ). hanks, file. Elpizo na exis dikio. Ala, prepi na vro mia lisi. I need to use my phone for business, as I work for a Software company, and the use of e/mail & net is very important.
Will try to find out what the problem is, and will contact as well my credit card...
Ta leme...
Filakia (=Kisses in greek) to all.
Would it be a CLI problem? Maybe your ISP only accepts calls from numbers that transmit CLI (Caller Line Identification). Maybe your phone has CLI turned off? maybe your mobile company doesn't allow CLI or maybe your ISP doesn't understand getting a call from a non land line number?
To test if your phone transmits CLI then call another mobile and see if your number appears on the display, if it does then 1 and 2 above aren't the problem, in which case find someone at your ISP who knows what they are talking about (that can be hard work sometimes) and ask them if they use incoming CLI and if a mobile CLI may be causing the problem.
HTH
Okay will try that...
I think I have to look as well in the direction of the Black Lists issued by providers, in regards of stolen phones. I guess someone made a mistake in writting some wrong IMEI numbers...
But the very strange thing is that the error message only appears here in Greece. When I travel to Europe, for example, (I travel a lot due to the fact I am a Sales Manager for a Software company), when the connection is okay (there I think Nokia could improve the conection time and posibilities...) I can log on my e/mail and the Internet. Strange , no???
