error sending mail

i have had a bit of trouble recently with the mail feature but now when i try to send my written mail it comes up with the message:
problem sending message
not ready

can anyone please suggest an answer for solving this.

I have a similar problem with GPRS, Extended Internet software and Siemens S45. It is impossible to send e-mail. I received the message "PROBLEM SENDING MESSAGE. INCORRECT INTERNET ACCESS. THE MAIL REJECTED FOR POLICY REASONS OR PROBLEM IN MAIL ADDRESSES"
Please help

To the latter request, it sounds like you're not using the ISP's SMTP server, so whoever it is you're connecting with over GPRS, make sure you're using their SMTP server settings.

As for the former..... hmmmmmmm, do you have a little D in the top left of the screen to show that you are connected?

I have had the same problem. One day it works fine, the next I get one of the two messages listed above. It's not an SMTP issue, for sure, and I do have the "little D."
