3650 as a modem please?

2 replies · 1,528 views · Started 21 July 2003

I am trying to use this 3650 as a modem to connect to my ISP from my PDA using bluetooh. I paired the devices and did the setup in my PDA. I see that the phone starts dialing but says "call disconnected" a minute later.

Maybe there is something I am missing?

another question I have is, I defined an high speed GSM access point (dialup), how do I use this access point? By using "Services" from the main menu and when defining a new web site, the access point I created does not appear in the list.

so how do I actually use this phone to connect to my dialup ISP?

Thanks

I don't know about a PDA, but when I use my 3650 to serve as a modem, with my computer, I have to add an extra string to its "initialization"... just call your ISP, and they should know...

Dude, what is your cellular provider?

If you have correctly setup an access point, it should appear on the list when trying to select an access point. Make sure that you have created an access point with connection as HIGH SPEED GSM and typed in the correct dial-up number.
