Deleting Multiple Contacts

Hi P800ers
My c: drive (phone memory) got screwed and it reformatted itself. (thanks p800 - although I don't know why, might be because I closed an app with a file open??)

So I restored an image of c: from the week before. Half way thru the restore I noticed it was duplicating all the contacts onto my pc from the phone. I know I could delete all my pc contacts and sync but is there a way to delete multiple p800 contacts instead?

Any ideas?

Thanks

Not in the phone but the "source". If you are sync with outlook, set the sync from sync station setting.

click on tab "Standard synchronisation" then click on Automatically resolve conflict- keep items in computer, override items in phone.

Then click on next tab "Full synchronisation" and click on Keep all items in computer and override items in phone.

NOTE: delete all double copy entries in your outlook then sync the phone in.

Hope this may help your problem.

Thanks for your help.
Syncing back to normal.
Has anyone else seen the phone memory reformat the drive?

yes it has happened to me twice. I believe it happens when the c drive gets too full. the OS doesnt handle it so well....

Anyway try to keep the C drive with 3 or 4 megs of free space is the advice I have seen.

Best Wishes
