I've managed to get two copies of mrouter showing in the task bar, and it might be responsible for some weirdness I'm seeing (like two subsequent synchronisation actions on connection).
This came about after I installed PC Suite 1.1 on the instructions of a Nokia Service Desk droid. The 1.1 version didn't spot the existing 1.0 installation, and got its knickers in a twist generally.
The last (very helpful) Nokia Service Desk droid sorted out most of these problems for me, but couldn't get to the bottom of the two mrouters. He couldn't escalate the problem as my PC is homebuilt and they'll only do escalations on OEM built hardware.
Anyone got any ideas?
i use a homebuilt computer and my stuff works just fine only one m router on my taskbar.
Not sure but have a look in your startup menu, there are some PCSuite progs in there - perhaps you are doubled up in there.
Or why not try add&remove software - you may see both versions listed seperatly... just don't remove any shared files just to be safe..

I doubt that the problem's arising 'cos I'm using a homebuilt computer - that's just Nokia's excuse as to why they won't escalate the problem.
Add/Remove programs shows only one copy of the PC Suite installed.
Mrouter doesn't figure in the startup program group - it's got to be in a registry entry somewhere.
Intriguingly, when I remove the PC Suite I have no mrouters running - but then on reinstalling I have two again
i would never tell any of the tech ppl that my computer is homebuilt as far as i'm concerned it's an alienware computer.

what is the Nokia service desk droid??
Never heard of that before
Did some fiddling around. And it seems to have helped me.
The new version of pc suite, does not seem to need the shortcuts in start -> Programs -> Startup anymore.
I moved the shortcut called PCSuiteForNokia3650 TS and restarted the pc. Viola.. Only one mrouter active 😃
Thanks Tatus, that got me there! I also had to remove the "PCSuiteForNokia3650 Detect" shortcut, and now I only have one mRouter!
Glad I could help 😃
And you are correct.. I also removed both shortcuts (forgot to update my post ) 😉
