A really useful feature on Nokia phones that doesnt seem to be on P800 is the ability to 'use number' from incoming SMS. Often I get a message to phone someone and the number is embedded in the text. Nokia have some smart s/w that recognises number string and allows you to cut this and call the number. Some SMS I get have a link in in blue but others don't? Anyone anything to report?
Tks
If the number is embedded in the text of a SMS, just use your stylus, click on the number, then an option screen will appear with the following....
Call
Send SMS
Send MMS
Add to Contacts
This occurs with all numbers and should always be in blue. The P800 recognises strings of numbers that could possibly be phone numbers (usually a string of unbroken numbers or broken with a "-"😉 and these are in blue.
