is there away to use the contacts from your sim card instead of using the having to copy them to the internal memory of the p800? I'd like to use the sim card the same way as the internal memory of the P800 .. but not actully use the internal memory
I'd rather use my own sim card for phone numbers ... coz I find the sim to be a better method to move my phone numbers around.. from phone to phone
Click on your contact, then click on the folder and scroll down, you should see SIM after the unfiled folder.
Btw, why you need to store all your contact in your SIM card when your phone can store tonnes of contact with details.
I think he gave you the reason - easy to move between phones, just change SIM card. Still - 200 records would never be enough for me.
the sims can only store a certain amount of characters per name aswelll right?
But the SIM card is annoying to store info as you can only put one number in for any one name, and you cant add useful detail such as addresses and other contact info such as e-mail...
And as nk8 pointed out you can only have a certain number of characters per name too.
