hi all i,m new to all this but i,m already hooked! the questoin i,m asking is i keep seeing poeple talking about firmware upgrade...what does it improve? will i loose any thing of the 9210 eg contacts ect and how do you do it? i take it that the updated firmware is a sis file...thanks...alex 😃

Well tahts ok, thats were this forum and we people are hir for... to help each other out to the best that we cud. Anyway, re the firm ware, simply think of it as your PC's OS like WindowsXP or MAC OSX. Obviously the best way to go wen instaling a new OS is to format the whole thing, so i suggest before u even conceive of doing sch action that u have all ur important data backedup like the contacts, documents, calendar evnts and etc.

Wat it does depends on the ver released that u chose. Again obiously the norm is the newer the better. Take for example DirectX patches... catch my drift? of course the newer wud offer further enhanced and mch efficient processes than the old one.

Im not quite sure thou, but i strongly believe that it aint an SIS file that u can simply reinstall. Even then, ul nid a special kind of cable, correct me if im wrong folks but i think its called a flasher cable, wer it cud format the core mem of the 92 and replace it w a new one!

Hope i got sum things cleard. 😉
