I was looking at Sony's NW-MS70D ATRAC/MP3 Network Walkman (the new really tiny one).
To my surprise, it comes with a 256mb memory stick duo. Does anyone know whether the P800 will accept a 256mb stick? Although the websites said that it has an embedded memory of 256mb, the shoassistant showed me the MSDuo that came with the unit and it had 256mb written on it.
Anyone else seen this or had actually purchased one?
unless there's a firmware upgrade me doesn't think that the p800 accepts anything higer than 128 does it?
nice, hope it can run 256meg cards, its a shame sony like to change alot for the memory :roll:

Lets hope this duo stick will soon be compatible with the P800 sooner rather then later...

Can't wait for 256mb sticks to be available, means the price for the 128mb's will come down a little bit more and I can start watching films on the way to and from work!!! 😃
Yeah, the stage where the morning commute in London is somehow made more bearable by the fact that you can watch a film or some TV program on the train to help the time pass during those inevitable delays... 😃

my friend came to my house with their baby, they left the buggy outside my house in the back garden and pop in for some tea and buscuits, after about 10mins they said "gotta make a move" and the buggy had gone 😞
London underground is full of strange people buses are the worse, but then again it depends on when you travel and how big you are 8)
Unfortunately its the way to not trust people in London... especially if you're walking around with a phone like the P800! :roll:

Can't believe NK8 thinks London is like that!!! Going in and out to work on the tube you're packed in with other wage slaves so no one's going to take a second look, I've seen people using PDA's and laptops on the tube in the morning!
I'd obviously watch what I was doing late at night or if somone dodgy looking got on the train, to the extent that I might put it away, but I'm sure you'd do the same on the Manchester trams???
Just common sense really, and NK8 you should come down here and enjoy a bit of London living!!! 😃

hehehe, actually, i got the stereotypical image that london was a lil rough by seeing it in it's own class when getting insurance, when i was buying insurance for my bmx, i found that it would cost �75 more if it was in the london area, but i know parts of london are really nice like the parks and gardens at sw19 😃
Lucky I live in SW12, nice and close to loads of parks and commons, yay! Plus the second lowest council tax in UK!!! That'll cover any insurance costs then hee hee!!!
PS do they charge different insurance on phones in London compared to the Yorkshire Dales/Orkneys/whatever?
i used my laptop on the train once (yes last minute assignments 8) ), but it was during the day so it was ok i guess.

Sorry to disappoint you guys but there is no 256mb MS Duo in existence! (and probably won't ever be!), the NW-MS70D walkman you're referring to has 256mb memory built in as well as an MS Duo slot...so we're stuck with 128s i'm afraid.

Nope sorry there definitely isn't a 256 ms duo, there isn't even a true 256mb normal ms (not including the silly select memory sticks)!

kk, not sure though, but i saw at the website, it's 256mb internal memory. and u can add 128mb duo.. it didnt mention 256mb duo. or i didnt see.

Sony should put a mini HDD in the next P800. you can get 1.8 inch sizes now! 😃
Couldn't the next phone use Memory Stick Pro - they are all 1Gb and above?
NW-MS70D has 256mb internal memory, not on the Memory Stick Duo.
So, until now the largist one is still 128mb. :cry:
