Moviemaker for P800

Has anyone fiddled with the Moviemaker released for the P800 on Handango's site? There's a trial that limits one to 1 minute of usage. However, those geniouses :roll: has the program start the one minute trial as soon as you execute the program. Thus, if it takes you 30 secs to search through your hard drives for a file to encode and prep the file you only have 30 secs remaining once the encoding process actually starts. It only converts from .avi files. Which means you'll have to find another encoding program to rip the file to avi first.

i actualy bought the program , but when i try to start it on my PC it actualy hangs and makes my PC very very slow, i then can't shut down the program and actualy have to manualy shut down the PC.
anyone w/ same problem

I've used the DEMO version.... but 1 minute time for it is too short !!! how can any one evaluate the program for 1 minute?! what I suggest is something like 10 - 15 days demo.

at least we'll have time to do a heavey test and see how good is this software.

The program does kinda hang. It takes quite a while for the program to initialized even on a P4 machine. :roll:

I purchased the SW but some of the conversion did not work out correct, hence no video or no sound even. Moviemaker is not worth a penny. I bought the PV Author from Packetvideo.com even though it costs 59 Dollars. They are the maker of the P800 Player, so they should do best. I have to say that SW is the best and works like a charme. They have included the P800 profiles for fast settings. Now I am happy

Can you clarify a couple things for me? What is SW? The closest things that comes to mind is Sorrenson.. Furthermore, if it had conversion issues then why do you praise it as "the best"? Which one do you actually use SW or PV Author?

Doesnt Moviemaker just use quicktime Mp4 codec, so you may as well use quicktime

SW = software
