i cant even get my wap configured let alone anything else imwith orange pay as u go anyone know where i start or what i do
thanks

First of all, you need WAP connection settings from your cellular service provider (=mobile phone operator). They must have a customer support website or telephone number? If you don't know. tell us your operator, so maybe someone knows where they have a support service. These settings are always operator specific.

When you have the settings, they are configured in the following menu:

" Tools => Settings => Connection => Access points " and chosee Options => New access point.

You need the settings from your operator! Or cellular service provider or whatever you call it.

Usually you need different settings for Internet (email and WWW), MMS and WAP services.

For example I have three profiles in my 7650:

Sonera WAP
Sonera Internet
Sonera MMS

Some cellular provider don't have their own internet access points.
Just sign up for an internet account where you can dial in. Then use those settings. Your cellular provider probably thinks it's a normal call.
If you have orange you most certainly can't get internet from them, just sign up to a internet provider.

BTW wap/sms is a cellular provider service.

The Orange website has details of how to set up WAP for the 9210. I imagine the settings should work for the 7650.

Heres the link http://www.orange.co.uk/cgi-bin/multimedia/setup_wap.pl?phone=nk9210e

and heres the details but it easier to read via the link

on your Nokia 9210e phone

Those settings are for GSM data. The 7650 supports GPRS which is usually faster and a lot cheaper to use than GSM data. GSM data is charged by used time where GPRS data is usually charged by the amount of transfered data. When using WAP services, not very much data is transfered, so GPRS is pretty nice. This also means that you don't have to worry about how much time you use browsing WAP pages.

You can search for Orange GPRS settings with Google: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&q=orange+gprs+settings .

P.S. Here in Finland one cellular service provider offers a flat-rate GPRS service for less than 17 euros per month. This means that I can send emails, surf the web etc as much as I like without any extra costs. This includes all Internet and WAP traffic, but not MMS messages. Now you can guess why I send all the pictures from the 7650 via email and don't need MMS. 😊
