i installed the file and it gave me option whether to enable or disable colours... blue, green, purple, orange, red and pink...
but when i try to enable the hidden colours nothing happens and it still remains the blue colours which i am using currently.
my FW is 3.16

When you enable them, then go to Tools -> Settings -> Phone -> Display and pick one of the new palettes there.
I think pExtender only works on version 4 firmwares - 3.12 and 3.16 do not have the palettes.
one of my friends told me that it works only with 3.12 and 3.16 and the extended palette doesnt show up in the tools --> setting -->....

Incorrect. It only works on versions ABOVE 3.12 and 3.16.
